After visiting the south of Africa twice, we went to East Africa in the (European) summer of 2019, specifically to Tanzania. There we went on a safari through the so-called "Northern Circuit" and then relaxed a little on Zanzibar. We all really liked this combination and in this way we experienced a lot, but also did not forget the relaxing part of a vacation.
The travel agency concept reisen in Berlin, which specializes in the region, provided us with very competent support in planning and carrying out the trip. In contrast to many competitors, they took our specific ideas into account, gave us tips for improvement and the result was an excellently planned tour with many highlights at a reasonable price. The travel agency is an asset and offers real added value compared to direct bookings.
On site, we dealt with Leopard Tours on the mainland and Fernandes Tours on Zanzibar. Both operators provided impeccable service and Leopard Tours in particular looked after us in an exemplary manner - including check-in at Arusha airport.
