After we had an unforgettable holiday in Namibia in 2012 (see Namibian 2012), we have planned another trip to the African region for 2016. This time the destination was the Zambezi region (formerly Caprivi) of Namibia and the north of Botswana with a detour to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

As before, we planned well in advance and bought the flight tickets a year before the trip. The reason for this was the opening of the new Munich-Windhoek route by the airline Condor and we were actually able to buy the first tickets on this route.

In order to keep the effort of communicating with the individual destinations to a minimum, this time several travel agencies in Germany and Namibia were contacted with the detailed request and asked for help. The answers were very different, both in terms of speed, content and price. In the end, we chose the Namibian travel agency Click & Travel, which we can highly recommend at this point. Birgit and Nina gave us good advice at all times, communication was flawless and the support during the trip was exemplary.
