Our trip to Namibia 🇳🇦 begins in rainy Munich, where we say goodbye to Bavaria 🥨 in temperatures slightly above freezing. Check-in 🛄 goes smoothly and our flight ✈️ is on time. First we're going to Frankfurt, from where we're going directly to Windhoek.

Entry also goes smoothly and after we have taken local currency (Namibian dollars 💵) out of the money dispenser, our chauffeur from Savanna Car Hire takes us to our rental car. Equipped with a new Ford Ranger, we go to the tour operator Bwana Tucke-Tucke and finally to the Astra Hunting Farm.
Here we enjoy the African sun, the sundowner and a meal under the starry sky.
