As soon as they hatch, the four chicks are treated to delicacies from the garden. These include small worms, insects, larvae, etc. Our new housemates are definitely not vegetarians (or are insects not considered animals? I have no idea...).
In any case, it is clear that this is evidence for the theory that insects can be a way out of humanity's food crisis. It is fascinating to see how quickly the little chicks develop. The video only shows one feeding per day, although these take place every few minutes.
