After an exciting night in which a hyena not only ran through the camp but also loudly defended its territory right next to our tent in the middle of the night, we set off on our game drive through the Serengeti at around 7:30 a.m. We are lucky again and see not only elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes, but also a pool with several hippos and 5 different groups of lions. We are also able to see another cheetah and a leopard with its cubs.
We take a break at the Serengeti Information Center and find out about the huge park and the famous wildebeest migration. We arrive at the camp in the afternoon, completely covered in dust and with hundreds of photos, and take a shower. Then we head to the subdowner at the bar tent. We'll see, maybe the hyena will stop by again today.
