Together with a group of dedicated scientists, we set out to track and observe wild animals on the Okambara farm. We accompanied a team of scientists from the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior who used a helicopter to tranquilize and track wild animals, high above the vast expanse of Namibia's rugged terrain. Watching these experts at work tracking animals from the air and marking them on the ground was a unique experience that gave us a deeper understanding of the delicate balance of nature.

After a successful mission, our journey home took an unexpected turn when our vehicle broke down in the middle of nowhere. With the engine threatening to catch fire due to a radiator failure, we were faced with a huge challenge. However, through quick action and teamwork, we managed to get the situation under control and call for help.
We waited in the darkness and soon the lights of a vehicle sent to help us appeared. The relief and gratitude we felt was great and reminded us of the importance of being prepared for and braving any adversity.
