30.04./01.05.: Etosha National Park

We leave the rugged beauty of Damaraland behind us and set our sights on the landscapes of Etosha National Park. Our destination for the day is the Okutala Etosha Lodge, a quiet retreat on the edge of the park, which offers the perfect mix of luxury and wilderness.

As we traverse the vast Namibian landscape, the scenery changes from rocky desert terrain to open plains dotted with acacia trees. We keep an eye out for wildlife along the way, as the journey itself is part of the adventure in this land of natural wonders.

Upon arrival at Okutala Etosha Lodge, we are greeted by the warm hospitality of our hosts and the stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. We take some time to relax in the tranquility of the surroundings.

The next day we embark on an unforgettable safari adventure as we venture deeper into the heart of Etosha National Park. We set off early in the morning to explore the park's vast savannahs and shimmering salt pans, where an abundance of wildlife awaits us.

As we traverse the park's network of gravel roads, we head to prime game viewing spots where we have the chance to spot a variety of species, from majestic elephants to graceful giraffes and a range of antelope species.

Our journey takes us to Halali Rest Camp, our accommodation for the night, where we are greeted by the sights and sounds of the African bush. After a short time to relax and freshen up, we enjoy the stunning sunset views from the camp's viewing deck.

At the end of our time in Etosha, we say goodbye to the park's landscapes and set our sights on our next destination. Before leaving the park, we go on one last game drive and take the opportunity to spot any wildlife we may have missed on our previous excursions.
