After the shell was finished in ten days, it is now time to start on the interior. Our little titmouse tirelessly brings more building materials, which will be used for the actual nest. Soft materials are usually used for this, e.g. animal hair or feathers.

But why shouldn't a city tit also use professional material? Our tit family finds insulation material on a nearby construction site and uses it to make the apartment cosy. At first it is mostly white insulation wool, later yellow is added. In this way, the nest is made habitable after another ten days.
