Our new roommates have been busy building their nest for a few days now. Fortunately, the location near Munich's "Moosfeld" makes it easy to get suitable material for the shell. This is put into the nest box and repeatedly moved from right to left without any apparent purpose.

In this way, a layer of moss and grass has formed over the last 10 days, covering the ground. This serves as a soft base for the actual nest, which the little guests are now busy building.
