Wine festival on Reichenau on 4/5 August 2000
In order not to lose track, we have divided the pictures from the trip to the fishing and wine festival on the island of Reichenau into several large blocks. These are:
getting there
Welcome from the "quiet riders" Fischer in front of the hotel. We all stayed here, even those who had boasted about their plans to camp. Apparently there was no more room on the campsite, but the prevailing opinion is that they are shirking.
Later, there was a rousing welcome by the world-famous fanfare band from the island of Reichenau on the festival grounds.
Evening impressions
The weather was not at all great, but thanks to the Zecher tour members' disciplined, punctual arrival, we always found a dry place under an umbrella.
Interestingly, the tour guide had already fallen in love with some of the female fellow travelers after just a short time…
As the evening progressed, we enjoyed the “Auggener Schäf Gutedel, dry” in considerable quantities.
This had a fatal impact on the general condition of the group in general and some fellow travelers in particular.
Of course, there are no really embarrassing pictures here yet. Those come at the end!
As the evening progressed, we met some more unexpected guests. These were Taubenus from Konstanz and Alfred from Blaubeuern, who most of us knew from last year.
